Forged Light by Margaret Lloyd
This is the third full-length collection from Margaret Lloyd, which includes reprints of her abstract watercolor landscapes. Lloyd's previous titles include This Particular Earthly Scene (Alice James, 1993) and A Moment in the Field: Voices from Arthurian Legend (Plinth Books, 2006). She has received an NEA grant and a Yaddo Fellowship among other awards. She is Chair of the Humanities Department at Springfield College in Massachusetts as well as a musician and painter.
Conjured from Dust by Rosalyn Driscoll
Rosalyn Driscoll's first full-length collection of poetry includes her photographs of details of her sculptures. The poems and the book combine her experience as an internationally-exhibited sculpture and installation artist with Buddhist sensibilities and a clear eye for exploring the spaces between objects, the body, and words. She has published poems in The Massachusetts Review, The Louisville Review, and Nimrod, which awarded her the Pablo Neruda Prize.
